We are not typically available for urgent or same-day visits. Please use urgent care or ER clinics for emergencies. Submitting your intake form promptly ensures the fastest scheduling. For urgent or life-threatening situations, please contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

No. We do not perform surgery, dentistry, or imaging in the home. We use pre-visit oral sedation for anxiety relief or light injectable sedation only for established patients, and use full sedation only for euthanasia. We can assist with pre-surgical visits including assessment and drawing of blood profiles when the clinic is open to this. We partner with local clinics for surgery, dentistry, radiology, ultrasound, and specialty care.

Yes. Many anxious cats do much better at home. We use gentle, cat-savvy handling. We ask owners to confine cats to a small space before our arrival. For extremely vigilant cats, we may begin with a visual exam and prescribe oral sedatives for future visits.

Many pets who are very nervous in a clinic setting do much better at home, especially cats. However, some animals are exceptionally vigilant and may still recognize that we’re veterinary professionals.  Highly fearful or reactive pets may be unsafe to handle. Our priority is safety. For large or severely phobic pets, we may not be able to provide services, especially stressful procedures such as nail trims. We can discuss pre-visit oral sedation and gradual trust-building, but in some cases, a brick-and-mortar clinic is a better choice.  We may decline service for very large reactive/aggressive dogs due to safety and liability concerns. Please reach out to discuss your pet’s specific needs so we can evaluate the case.

We do not offer injectable sedation in the home. For certain reactive pets that cannot be safely handled, including by the pet-parent, we recommend cooperative care training with a behaviorist or trainer, or care through a clinic setting. In certain circumstances can offer visual-exam only visits to support quality of life, pain control, or oral medications such as sedatives if a physical exam isn’t possible and the pet can’t travel.

Yes. We provide thorough quality-of-life consultations, palliative care, and end-of-life support. Euthanasia is available for current patients only. We require at least a telemedicine or phone consultation prior to scheduling euthanasia. We cannot accommodate urgent or same-day requests; for those, please contact Compassionate Care or Lap of Love.

Yes! Our online pharmacy makes it easy to order and refill medications. Prescriptions are approved by your veterinarian and shipped directly to your home. If you choose to use a pharmacy other than our online option, please notify our team so we can assist.  Also please give at least 1 week buffer for medication refill needs.
